Product training for engcon Australia in Sweden for the new Microprop system, DC2.


On January 1, the safety requirements for control systems were made stricter through the standard SS-EN ISO 13849-1. This machine security standard is now harmonized with the machine directive. The standard has been updated to also include more complex processes, placing stringent requirements on all sections of a control system: inputs, outlets, hydraulics, electronics, software and documentation.
"For us at engcon, these stricter requirements mean that we have developed an entirely new generation of control systems," says Roberth Jonsson.

To fully understand and promote the new system, engcon Australia personnel, Daniel Sjodin and Caroline Sigge took a two days course in a very cold Sweden before heading back to Australia.

Successful show AusRAIL 2011 at the Exhibition & Convention centre in Brisbane!


At the end of November engcon took part in the rail show in Brisbane, AusRAIL 2011. The show was very busy and it was a chance for us to meet existing engcon customers and also tie up some new business.
